How to Refract
What is Refract:
Is the action that allow you summon card from your Crystal deck.
Basic Rule:
To Refract you must select a Refraction in your crystal deck, then select an available knight unit that can refract and whose leader shares lineage with the selected Refraction, then pay the cost of the Refraction to invoke.
How to pay the cost:
To pay the cost of a Refraction you must send cards from your Hand to the graveyard that add up to the requirements necessary to play that Refraction.
The cost is represented by the Lineage symbol and a number that indicates the necessary number of knights to call the card into play. See refraction card anatomy.
Initial position rules:
The Refraction called if it is not attached to a squad must be placed in a space close to the summoning unit. Selecting from: Left, Right, Front or Behind.
If it needs to be attached to a unit it will be attached to the summoner unit.
When can i Refract?
You can refract at any time during your command phase.
You can at any time during the battle phase.
You can refract by abilities at any time the ability allow it.
