Re/Fate has a gridded playing field where the the game will occur, which is necessary to play and each player must have their own gridded field.
DECK: Area to place your main deck (Knight deck)
Crystal: Area to place your Crystal deck.
Graveyard: Area to place your cards from Knight Deck after are defeated or used.
Shattered: Area to place your card from the Crystal Crystal after are defeated or used.
Numbered Grid: Area where cards are placed the battlefield, where they will move around and function during play.
Cells: Each enumerated area of the Grid, used to check the impact of attacks and or define where will each unit be placed on batllefield.
Row: A row is made up of 4 cells in a horizontal position, the game has 3 row each limited by colored lights.
Column: A column is made up of cell in vertically, One column comprises both battlefields.
